Jhanak: Show to Take 20-Year Leap — Will Hiba Nawab Stay or Leave?
Popular TV show Jhanak, which has been loved by viewers for years, is about to take a big turn. The makers have decided to introduce a 20-year generation leap to keep the story fresh and exciting. With this major twist coming up, fans have been wondering if the lead actress Hiba Nawab will continue in the show.
Now, it’s confirmed — Hiba Nawab will exit the show after the leap.
In an interview with India Forums, Hiba, who has played the lead role in Jhanak since the beginning, shared that she won’t be continuing with the show. Reports also suggest that actors Krushal Ahuja and Chandni Sharma will also be leaving. The reason? They were not comfortable playing older versions of their characters, and they all agreed to part ways with the show.
Hiba confirmed, “Yes, Jhanak is taking a leap, and I will not be a part of it afterward.”
For those who didn’t know, the idea of a time leap was discussed earlier, but it was delayed. Now, the decision is final. The show will soon feature a brand-new storyline along with a completely new star cast.
When Jhanak celebrated 100 episodes, Hiba had shared her happiness about the show’s success. In a chat with Pinkvilla, she said, “We are thrilled to be in the top 5 shows across all channels. I’m so grateful to our audience. It’s an amazing feeling!”
Jhanak has been one of the top-rated daily soaps on Indian television, often ranking in the top 10 thanks to its engaging story. The show stars Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja, Chandni Sharma, Dolly Sohi, and others in important roles.
