Cassie Ventura Testifies Again, Says Diddy Gave Her a Black Eye and Bruises During 2016 Fight

Cassie Ventura has returned to the witness stand to testify against her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs. She told the court that Diddy gave her a black eye, a swollen lip, and several bruises during a fight in 2016.
On Wednesday, Cassie, who was in a relationship with Diddy for about ten years, emotionally shared how he physically hurt her. “I had a black eye and a fat lip,” she said through tears. “You are sick for thinking what you did was okay. Just stay away from me.”
Cassie’s latest testimony came after prosecutors described how Diddy tried to control and hurt her during their relationship.
After Diddy’s recent arrest, a video surfaced online showing him kicking and dragging Cassie in a hotel lobby. Cassie said her friend called the LAPD after the incident, but she chose not to tell the police what had really happened.
“In that moment, I didn’t want to hurt him,” she explained. “I just wasn’t ready.”
Later, she shared that Diddy came to her home and pounded on the door, demanding to be let in. But she wasn’t there at the time.
In court, lawyers showed photos of Cassie’s injuries. In the pictures, she was wearing makeup and sunglasses to hide her bruises.
The federal trial against Diddy started on Monday. The jury was chosen last week, and the case is now moving forward.
