Superman Trailer: David Corenswet on War’s Aftermath

Superman Trailer: David Corenswet Talks About Life After War in Interview With Lois Lane — WATCH

The new Superman trailer is here, and fans are excited! Director James Gunn has released another preview of the upcoming DC movie, with David Corenswet in the lead role as Superman.

The first trailer became a huge hit, getting over 250 million views online — the most-watched trailer ever for a DC and Warner Bros. movie.

In the latest trailer, we see Superman facing criticism, even though he just stopped a war. The clip begins with journalist Lois Lane, played by Rachel Brosnahan, asking Superman some tough questions in an interview.

As the trailer goes on, Superman struggles with public backlash and media pressure. Still, he rises above it and prepares to battle the film’s main villain — Lex Luthor.

The film has a strong cast. Alongside Corenswet and Brosnahan, it stars Nicholas Hoult, Skyler Gisondo, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, and Edi Gathegi. This is the first solo Superman movie in 10 years, since Man of Steel by Zack Snyder.

Rachel Brosnahan recently shared her thoughts on playing Lois Lane. In an interview with Variety during the 2024 SAG Awards, she said, “I’ve always loved Lois Lane. She’s smart, ambitious, and funny. She usually knows she’s the smartest one in the room. When I got the chance to play her — and as a fan of James Gunn — I couldn’t say no.”

Superman is set to release in theaters on July 11.
