Right now in the story, Armaan has become very protective and possessive about his daughter Pookie. He doesn’t let anyone, not even Abhira, get too close to her. His controlling behavior is being noticed by the whole Poddar family, and in the coming episodes, this may even affect his bond with his mother Vidya.
What’s coming next?
As per a report by Bollywood Life, in the next episodes, the Poddar family will plan a picnic to celebrate Pookie’s Nahaavan ritual (a traditional baby ceremony). Armaan gets excited and makes all the arrangements for the outing.
The family is shown getting ready with packed bags. Vidya is holding baby Pookie, while Abhira stands far away. Kaveri notices this and asks Abhira why she’s not near her daughter. Abhira tells her that Armaan asked her to stay away because she has a slight cold and he doesn’t want the baby to fall sick.
Kaveri supports Abhira and tries to comfort her. Abhira feels heartbroken being kept away from her own child.
A clash between Armaan and Vidya
Later, Armaan and Manish arrive with a big bus to take everyone on the picnic. Armaan takes Pookie from Vidya and says he has packed everything needed for the baby. But Vidya tells him that she took out one diaper from the bag. Armaan gets upset and scolds Vidya, saying he had counted the diapers and she shouldn’t have touched the bag. His reaction surprises everyone.
In earlier episodes, we saw Armaan keeping Abhira away from Pookie, thinking she’s not capable of being a good mother. He doesn’t even let his family get too close to his daughter. Now, it looks like his overprotective nature might damage his relationship with his mother Vidya too.
