Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 is already trending online, even though it hasn’t been officially announced yet. After a slower response to Season 8, fans are excited to see what’s coming next. Nagarjuna has been the regular host for many years, but rumors recently suggested that the makers might bring in Nandamuri Balakrishna to host the new season.
However, a report by OTTPlay confirms that the show’s makers have renewed Nagarjuna’s contract. The Kuberaa actor has reportedly been paid a huge amount to return as the host once again. Nagarjuna has been hosting the show for the past six years.
There were also earlier reports that actor Vijay Deverakonda was in talks with the Bigg Boss team to become the new host, but that was never officially confirmed.
Bigg Boss Telugu started in 2017. Jr NTR hosted the very first season, and Nani took over for Season 2. From Season 3 onwards, Nagarjuna has been the face of the show. In Seasons 2 and 6, the show included both celebrities and common people as contestants.
According to reports, Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 is expected to begin in September 2025.
A few months ago, 123Telugu reported that the first confirmed contestant for Season 9 is Babloo, also known as Bumchick Babloo. He is a well-known comedian and actor in the Telugu digital entertainment space.
Babloo is famous for his comedy videos on YouTube and Instagram, where he shares funny skits and stories. His content has a large fanbase online.
Interestingly, Babloo was considered for a past season of Bigg Boss, but didn’t make it to the final list. This time, the makers have finalized his entry, and his presence is expected to bring a lot of fun and humor to the show.
There are also rumors that several other well-known faces will be joining the show. However, their names are being kept secret for now to build excitement before the premiere.
