Ranbir Kapoor Eats Alone at Cafes While Shooting Abroad, Doesn’t Travel With a Team – Reveals Production House COO
Ranbir Kapoor is known for living a quiet and private life, especially when he’s not promoting his films. Unlike many Bollywood stars, he avoids the spotlight and doesn’t even have any official social media accounts. While most celebrities travel with a big team, Ranbir prefers to travel alone and even enjoys eating by himself at cafés while shooting abroad.
In a recent interview with IndiaTV ShowBiz, Rajeev Masand, the COO of Dharma Cornerstone Agency, shared some surprising details about Ranbir’s off-screen life. He said that Ranbir is very different from other stars who are usually surrounded by assistants and staff.
Rajeev recalled seeing Ranbir at an airport once, quietly standing in line all alone. “You don’t usually see actors alone like that,” he said. Curious, he asked Ranbir about his team. Ranbir simply replied, “What team?” making it clear that he was traveling by himself. After that, someone came to pick him up outside the airport.
Masand pointed out that while this might seem normal for regular people, it’s quite rare for a celebrity of Ranbir’s level. He shared another interesting story—he heard from some filmmakers that during lunch breaks on shoots abroad, Ranbir would often go off by himself and eat alone at nearby cafés.
“That’s a sign of a smart and grounded actor,” Masand said. He believes that Ranbir prefers staying connected to the real world, which helps him play his characters in a more authentic way.
