Bigg Boss 18’s Shilpa Shirodkar Tests Positive for COVID-19
Actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 18, has tested positive for COVID-19. As COVID cases are rising again in India, her announcement has worried many of her fans. Shilpa shared the news on her Instagram today (May 19), asking everyone to stay safe.
Shilpa’s Message to Fans
Posting on social media, Shilpa wrote:
“Hello people! I’ve been tested positive for COVID. Stay safe and wear your masks! – Shilpa Shirodkar”
In the caption, she added: “Stay Safe ❤️”
After her post, fans and fellow celebrities filled the comments with well wishes and love.
Actress Indira Krishna wrote, “😲 take care dear, recover soon…”
Chum Darang said, “Get well soon ❤️”
Her sister, Namrata Shirodkar, also commented, “Get well soon.”

Shilpa was a part of Bigg Boss 18, where she connected well with other housemates like Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, and Digvijay Rathee. Her friendship with Karan Veer and Vivian Dsena was especially loved by viewers.
After leaving the show, Shilpa made headlines for her amazing weight loss. She lost around 13 to 14 kilos, starting during her time in the Bigg Boss house. She even thanked co-contestant Avinash Mishra for managing food in the house, which helped her unintentionally lose about 11 kg. After the show, she kept up her fitness routine and dropped another 2 kg.
