Denzel Washington Gets Into Heated Argument With Photographer at 2025 Cannes Film Festival
Denzel Washington, one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, was recently seen in a tense moment at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. While the event usually celebrates glamour and cinema, this time it made headlines for a different reason — Denzel got into a heated argument with a photographer.
What Happened?
According to reports, the incident happened on the red carpet during the premiere of Highest 2 Lowest, directed by Spike Lee. Denzel stars in the film, marking his fifth collaboration with Lee. This also happened to be his first Cannes appearance since 1993’s Much Ado About Nothing.
While walking the red carpet, Denzel reportedly lost his cool when a photographer became too aggressive. A video shared by the New York Post shows the actor pointing his finger at the photographer and shouting, “Stop!”
The Confrontation
In the video, the photographer tries to brush off the situation with a laugh, but Denzel wasn’t amused. When the photographer placed his hand on Denzel’s arm, the actor quickly pulled away and once again yelled, telling him to stop.
It’s clear from the video that the actor was uncomfortable and wanted the photographer to back off.
