EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 19 – Salman Khan to Shoot Promo Soon, Premiere Date Revealed
Get ready, Bigg Boss fans! The popular reality show Bigg Boss is coming back with Season 19, and yes, Salman Khan will return as the host.
For nearly 20 years, Bigg Boss has kept viewers hooked with its drama, fights, and emotional moments. It’s not just a show—it has helped many actors relaunch their careers. A few months ago, there were rumors that the production company Banijay Asia (Endemol Shine India) might split from Colors TV, which made fans worried about the future of Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi.
But now, there’s good news! According to Pinkvilla, Bigg Boss 19 is officially happening and will be produced by Endemol Shine India. The show will continue to bring all the drama, fun, and surprises that fans love.
Even though Salman Khan has said before that hosting the show can be emotionally draining, he’s agreed to return once again. This will be his 16th time hosting the show, showing just how close he is to the Bigg Boss family.
Salman is set to shoot the first promo for Season 19 at the end of June 2025, and the new season is expected to premiere in late July 2025.
Over the years, Bigg Boss has also gone digital. The OTT version has had three seasons so far. The first was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, who won over fans despite their doubts at first. Divya Agarwal won that season, while Nishant Bhatt was the runner-up.
The second OTT season was hosted by Salman Khan, and it ran for two months. The third season saw Anil Kapoor as host. His energetic and fresh style impressed fans during his month-and-a-half run.
