Anupamaa, one of the most loved Indian TV shows, is once again bringing a big twist to its storyline. In the latest promo, we see Anupamaa, played by Rupali Ganguly, leaving her family and home behind as she begins a new chapter in Mumbai.
Anupamaa Starts Over in Mumbai
Star Plus recently shared a new promo video on their official social media page. In it, Anupamaa is seen arriving in Mumbai, often called the city of dreams, to start fresh. She is now away from her family and the city of Ahmedabad.
The video shows her struggling to adjust to the busy city life—riding crowded local trains, facing noisy traffic, and trying to find her way. At one point, she hears a man reminding a woman of her limits, which brings back painful memories from her past.
Later, Anupamaa notices a classical dance class nearby, which reminds her of dancing with her daughter Raahi. Though she gets emotional, she gathers courage and looks ready to start her life again.

The caption shared with the promo read:
