“You won’t get more work” – Why Udne Ki Aasha Actress Neha Harsora Was Told This
Neha Harsora is currently impressing viewers with her role as Sayali in the show Udne Ki Aasha, where she stars opposite Kanwar Dhillon. While fans now praise her performance, Neha shared that things weren’t always easy for her.
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, she opened up about facing harsh criticism when she played the lead role in her earlier show Raazz Mahal.
Neha Faced Harsh Comments in Her First Show
When asked if she ever faced rejection that really hurt her, Neha replied,
“Yes, I faced it while working in Raazz Mahal. It was my first lead role, and it was a fantasy show. The dialogues were in very pure Hindi, which was hard for me at that time.”
Neha recalled that people criticized her acting and said things like:
“She can’t act. She won’t be able to do this. She won’t get any more work.”
She admitted these comments were painful.
“It felt bad hearing all this. But you can’t take everything to heart. You have to move on,” she added.
She Decided to Improve Herself Instead of Giving Up
Neha explained that some people try to prove others wrong out of anger, but she chose a different path. She believed that if something is meant for her, it will come. She focused on improving her Hindi and working harder.
She also talked about the challenges of working in daily soaps like Raazz Mahal:
“We get scripts at the last minute. It’s a daily show, so everything is fast. Unlike films or web series, we don’t have time to prepare properly. Maybe that’s why people say things like ‘She’s just a TV actor.’ But I think TV teaches you the fastest.”
She’s Ready for Bigger Projects
Neha said that working in TV has taught her a lot, and if she ever gets a chance to work in a web series or movie, she will do great because she now knows how to prepare and perform better.
