Popular TV couple Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy recently gave Pinkvilla a special look inside their lovely duplex home in Mumbai. Known for their grounded nature and strong acting skills, the couple has won many hearts. In this home tour, they show how they’ve turned their house into a cozy and elegant place full of warmth and charm.
🏡 Welcome to Their Home
As the video begins, Gautam and Pankhuri warmly welcome viewers into their home. The living room looks spacious, neat, and tastefully decorated. Interestingly, the couple shared that they didn’t hire any interior designers—everything was done by themselves!
Pankhuri explained that they’ve lived here for a year. When they bought it, the house was empty and in bad shape. But they loved the natural light and high ceilings, which made them choose this place. The large windows let in a lot of sunlight and fresh air, which brings life into the room.
The living area has soft, neutral colors with a feature wall covered in banana leaf-printed, peach wallpaper. Floral sofas, colorful cushions, small cabinets, rattan furniture, and lots of indoor plants complete the peaceful vibe. Gautam shared that they had most furniture like cupboards and sofas made by a carpenter. Pankhuri added that she loves using rattan and glass for a natural, Indian look.
🍽️ Dining Area
Next to the living room is their cozy dining space. It includes a wooden dining table with comfy chairs and a crockery cabinet nearby. One wall has beautiful Indian paintings, adding color and culture to the area.
The couple also mentioned that they bought the furniture, wallpapers, and decorative items like Buddha and elephant statues from different places. A special corner of the dining area displays cute handprints and paintings made by their twins, Radhya and Raditya.
🛏️ First Floor – Bedrooms
The first floor includes their children’s room and their master bedroom. Before entering, they showed a wall decorated with sweet photos of their twins.
The kids’ room is bright and fun. It has two cots, a sofa bed, a bookshelf, and cabinets. Since they recently became parents to twins, they made sure the room is safe and playful for their little ones.

The second floor has guest rooms. But first, the couple showed a cabinet filled with family photos, full of memories and smiles.
🌿 Balcony – Their Favorite Spot
The balcony is a peaceful spot with lots of potted plants and cozy chairs. There’s also a swing where Gautam and Pankhuri enjoy their coffee together in the morning or relax in the evening. It’s a perfect little escape from the busy city life.

Every part of their home shows their love, values, and memories. The couple has decorated it with personal items—like photos and souvenirs—that tell the story of their life together. The home feels warm, personal, and full of meaning.
Speaking about their journey, the couple met while shooting for the show Suryaputra Karn. They started as friends and eventually fell in love. They tied the knot on February 5, 2018, in a beautiful wedding in Rajasthan. After five years of marriage, they welcomed their twins—a boy and a girl—on July 25, 2023.
