Diljit Dosanjh Quits No Entry 2: Anees Bazmee Reveals Shocking Details

Diljit Dosanjh’s Exit from No Entry 2 CONFIRMED: Director Anees Bazmee Shares the Real Reason

Fans were super excited when No Entry 2 was announced. The original film made everyone laugh out loud, and the news that Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh would star in the sequel only added to the hype. But recently, rumors started swirling about Diljit leaving the film — and now, director Anees Bazmee has confirmed it.

Anees Bazmee Confirms Diljit’s Exit

In a recent interview with News18, Anees Bazmee revealed that Diljit Dosanjh is no longer part of No Entry 2. However, he made it clear that he’s not upset about it. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 & 3 director said this isn’t the first time he’s had to change his cast. What matters most to him is that the film is still being made.

Anees explained that he always puts his heart into his work and leaves the rest up to destiny. He also said that in the past, some actors weren’t his first choice, but they ended up fitting their roles so well that audiences couldn’t imagine anyone else playing those characters.

What Happened with Diljit?

Bazmee shared a bit more about what went down with Diljit. They had two meetings about the movie. In the second meeting — which lasted only 10 seconds — Diljit told him he was having trouble with dates. “He said he was trying to sort out his schedule. Boney ji (producer Boney Kapoor) was also there,” Bazmee said.

Despite the exit, Anees didn’t seem too stressed. He believes that whatever happens, happens for the best. He added that Diljit is still someone he respects a lot and called him a “very honest and talented actor.”

Their First Meeting

When they first met, Anees said they talked for just 20 minutes. Diljit didn’t even hear the full script but got the idea of the story and immediately agreed to do the film. So it’s clear both of them were interested in working together.

What’s Next?

Now that Diljit is officially out, fans are eager to know who will take his place. Anees Bazmee hasn’t revealed the new name yet, but the announcement is expected soon. Until then, the buzz around No Entry 2 continues to grow.
