Kareena Kapoor & Saif Ali Khan’s Simple Daily Routine Surprises Fans in Glam World
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are often seen as Bollywood royalty, and fans are always curious about their lives behind the scenes. But in a recent interview, Kareena surprised everyone by sharing how simple and routine their daily life really is.
Kareena Talks About Their “Mundane” Days
In a chat with Nod Magazine, Kareena revealed that the pandemic changed her outlook. It taught her to slow down and enjoy the little things. She even said the brick-stone kitchen in their home is the “happiest part of the house.”
Kareena described a typical day, where she, Saif, and their kids all enjoy cooking together. “We’re all in the kitchen,” she shared. Saif, she added, is currently obsessed with Kerala food. He’s been trying out recipes like idiyappams and coconut-based stews. For Kareena, however, having at least one proper Indian meal a day is a must—she calls it “non-negotiable.”
Early Dinners, Early Nights
Over the years, Kareena says her lifestyle has become much more calm and focused. She now follows a strict routine: dinner by 6 PM, bed by 9:30 PM, and workouts early in the morning “before the world wakes up.”
“My friends know not to expect me at parties anymore,” she laughed, adding that they understand she’s probably watching Schitt’s Creek on low volume instead.
Fitness and Mental Health First
After COVID, Kareena says her focus on fitness has deepened—not for looks, but for overall well-being. She regularly shares yoga and strength training clips on social media, which she says help stabilize her mood.
Smarter Career Choices
Kareena has also been more selective with her work. From digital projects like The Buckingham Murders and Jaane Jaan to commercial hits like Crew and Singham Again, she’s picking roles that excite and challenge her.
“It’s not about doing more anymore,” she said. “It’s about preserving my energy and talent.”
What’s Next for Kareena?
Kareena will soon be seen in Daayra, a crime-drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar (Raazi, Sam Bahadur). The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and explores dark, real-life issues in society. It’s currently in pre-production.
She’ll also appear in Netflix’s reality drama show, Dining With The Kapoors. The show will feature the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and Randhir Kapoor, sharing memories and personal stories.
Netflix had earlier teased the show as “a seat at the table with one of Bollywood’s oldest and grandest families.”
