Tejasswi Prakash Talks About Her Phone Call with Dipika Kakar After Her Stage 2 Liver Cancer Diagnosis
Actress Tejasswi Prakash recently shared her thoughts and concern for her friend and co-star Dipika Kakar, who is battling stage 2 liver cancer. The two actresses had become close while working together on Celebrity MasterChef. Dipika had to leave the show in the middle due to a hand injury.
💬 Tejasswi Reached Out to Dipika
In a recent interview with One100newsmedia at an event, Tejasswi spoke about her conversation with Dipika after learning about her diagnosis. She said,
“I did message her. I asked how she was doing. Even before it was in the news, she told me the tumor was malignant. Of course, she sounded worried, and I’m worried too. She had her surgery today. As much as I want to talk to her more, I don’t want to bother her right now.”
Tejasswi added that she plans to speak with Dipika on the phone soon.

For those who don’t know, Dipika Kakar shared with fans on May 27 that she had a cancerous tumor in the left part of her liver. After this news, fans, friends, and celebrities have been praying for her recovery.
Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, later informed fans that Dipika’s surgery was scheduled for June 3. On June 4, Shoaib shared that her surgery lasted 14 hours and was successful. However, he also mentioned that Dipika was in pain and is currently in the ICU. He promised to keep fans updated about her health as she continues to recover.
