Krrish 4 EXCLUSIVE: Jackson Wang Jokes About Playing the Lead Role, Says “I’m the New Krrish”
In a fun and exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, K-pop star and GOT7 member Jackson Wang had a playful reaction to the idea of starring in Krrish 4, the much-anticipated superhero film led by Hrithik Roshan.
Hrithik is all set to direct Krrish 4, taking over from his father, Rakesh Roshan. The movie will also bring back Priyanka Chopra in her original role as Priya. As Jackson promotes his new album MAGIC MAN 2 in India, he shared some lighthearted thoughts about the film.
During the interview, Jackson said with a laugh, “He’s doing that… Krrish 4, yeah. It’s not in production yet, right? I’m in it. I’m the new Krrish. I’m just kidding. I’m sorry, I’m an extrovert. Please accept that. I like to stir things up. Maybe I’ll tell him tonight.”
When asked if he’d be open to composing music for the film, Jackson was quick to respond, “Bro, anytime! Please! For free. It would be an honor.”
He joked again, “I’m in Krrish 4. You’d be surprised. You’d be like, ‘Was that Jackson?’ I show up and die right away. I love that.”
Talking about the idea of doing a dance number with Hrithik in the film, Jackson said excitedly, “That’s crazy. That’s a good idea. Magic Man 3!”
He also added humorously, “Sometimes I really miss having a label. Maybe I should sign with a good company. Maybe Hrithik should sign me! I’m officially announcing I’m in Krrish 4. I’ll do the soundtrack, be part of the cast—though I might only be on screen for a second before I die. But I’ll definitely be at the screening party!”
About Krrish 4: What We Know So Far
Krrish 4 is expected to start filming in early 2026, and casting is currently underway. As previously reported by Pinkvilla, the film will mark the return of Jadoo, the beloved alien character, after 23 years. It also brings Hrithik Roshan back as superhero Krrish, a role he last played on screen 14 years ago.
