Karan Veer Mehra Remembers Sushant Singh Rajput on Death Anniversary | Bigg Boss 18 Winner

Bigg Boss 18 Winner Karan Veer Mehra Remembers Sushant Singh Rajput on His 5th Death Anniversary: “This Day Is Always a Black Day”

On the fifth death anniversary of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra remembered his close friend with a heartfelt post on social media. Karan shared an emotional message and a poem, paying tribute to the late actor who once helped him during a difficult phase in life.

Karan Veer Mehra Remembers Sushant

Karan and Sushant shared a strong bond. Even after five years of Sushant’s passing, Karan still misses him deeply. On Instagram, he posted some unseen pictures of their fun times together—from casual hangouts to special moments—calling them some of his most precious memories.

In the caption, Karan fondly called Sushant “Kamini” and wrote,
“Although this day will always feel like a black day in my life, this year hurts a bit more. I’m on the path you once laid out for me. I wish you were here so I could share this with you and make you proud. When no one believed in me, you did. I was even thinking of quitting when you sat me down, broke everything down with logic, and guided me in the right direction.”

Fame Feels Incomplete Without You

Karan shared that even though he feels grateful for the fame, money, and love he has received, something always feels missing without Sushant around.
“I’m thankful for everything I’ve got, but it all feels a little less joyful without you,” he added.

A Special Poem for Sushant

Known for his one-liners and poetic nature, Karan also shared a poem in memory of his friend. He revealed that Sushant was the one who encouraged him to read, even though Karan is dyslexic. That support helped him fall in love with poetry.

Here’s the poem he wrote for Sushant:

“Maine khuda se pucha wo kyun,
Chhodh gaya mujhe,
Uski kya majboori thi…
‘Khuda’ ne kaha na kasoor tera tha,
Na galti uski thi,
Maine ye kahani likhi hi adhuri thi.”

Karan ended the post by saying,
“Looking up to thank you. Always stay happy wherever you are, my Kamini. From Kutti.”

Fans and fellow celebs like Niyatii S Fatnani and Romiit Raaj also shared their love and support in the comments.

Sushant Singh Rajput tragically passed away on June 14, 2020.
