Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is busy promoting her upcoming horror-comedy movie Stree 2. Along with her work, she’s also making headlines because of rumors about a breakup with her rumored boyfriend, Rahul Mody. The rumors got stronger when Shraddha unfollowed Rahul, his sister, his production company, and even his dog on Instagram. Now, her cousin Zanai Bhosle, who is Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, has also unfollowed Rahul, which has added more fuel to the breakup speculations.

In June, Shraddha seemed to confirm the relationship rumors by posting a playful selfie with Rahul on her Instagram story. The caption, “Dil rakh le, neend to vaapis de de yaar (Keep my heart, but at least give me back my sleep),” with a laughing emoji and a red heart, caught a lot of attention.
The dating rumors began after Shraddha and Rahul were seen together multiple times last year. Their relationship was highlighted further when they attended a friend’s wedding in March. Speculation grew even more when Shraddha shared photos from what looked like a vacation they took together.
In May, Shraddha dropped another hint with a series of Instagram photos. She wore a purple night suit with starfish and conch shell prints, but what really caught people’s eyes was a necklace with an ‘R’ locket. Earlier this year, a source close to the couple told the Hindustan Times that their relationship had grown stronger since they worked on a film together. They are comfortable with each other, which is why they’re often seen together. The source added that they don’t plan to make their relationship official anytime soon. Both prefer to keep their private life out of the public eye.
For those who don’t know, Rahul Mody is a film writer known for his work on Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The rumored couple is said to have become close while working on this project.
On the work front, Shraddha is gearing up for the release of Stree 2, the sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy Stree. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao and is part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, which includes movies like Bhediya and Munjya. The film is set to release on Independence Day.
