Shraddha Kapoor is back with the sequel to the 2018 movie Stree. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 hit theaters on August 15 and has been doing well at the box office. Recently, Shraddha was spotted in Mumbai as she left a cinema hall after watching her own movie. However, as she exited the venue, she was surrounded by excited fans eager to see her.
In a video shared by a paparazzi account, Shraddha is seen leaving the theater. She looked lovely in a bright red top and blue jeans, her face glowing with happiness. Despite being mobbed by enthusiastic fans who wanted to take pictures with her, Shraddha handled the situation with grace. She took a moment to pose with her admirers before being escorted to her luxury vehicle. When one of the photographers mentioned that the movie was a hit, Shraddha crossed her fingers and joined her hands in thanks before leaving.
Shraddha and her co-star Rajkummar Rao have both had impressive careers. They recently opened up about their insecurities during Pinkvilla’s Masterclass series. Rajkummar shared that he knew he wanted to be an actor since he was in 10th or 11th grade. He said, “I wanted to do it because I loved the art form, not for fame or money. It’s so much fun to play different characters on stage and in front of the camera, exploring life through different roles.”
Rajkummar also mentioned that making movies gives him a high. He added, “I’m not insecure about what people or critics say, or about earning money or fame. I do this every day because I genuinely love it. As long as that feeling is there, I have no insecurity.”
Shraddha also shared her thoughts, expressing gratitude for the love and support she’s received from her fans over the years. She said, “The audience makes me feel like I belong to them. It’s a humbling experience, and I’m entirely focused on what I’m here to do. Being part of films and living my childhood dream is a huge opportunity. Instead of feeling insecure, I’m filled with gratitude for being able to do what I do.”
For those following updates on Stree 2, it’s worth noting that Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan have cameo appearances in the movie. Rajkummar hinted that there are even more surprises in store, while Shraddha playfully mentioned, “Stree 4 cameos.” She added, “But I have to say, they’re special, and I think the audience will be happy about them.”
Stree 2 also features Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles.
