Rohit Purohit has joined the popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the character Armaan Poddar. He took over the role after Shehzada Dhami was removed from the show due to unprofessional behavior.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is known for its high ratings and captivating storylines. When Shehzada Dhami was let go, Rohit Purohit stepped in to play Armaan Poddar. He quickly won over the audience with his performance and has been well-received by fans. Recently, Rohit celebrated completing five months on the show by sharing a video on his Instagram.
In the video, Rohit shared highlights of his performance on the show, including fan-made clips showing his different on-screen moods—from being called “Khadoosman” by Abhira (played by Samridhii Shukla) to being the “PJ king” (for his poor jokes). The video was set to the song Deewana Hai Dekho from the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
In his heartfelt caption, Rohit expressed his gratitude for all the love he’s received for his role as Armaan. He wrote, “5 months of Armaan Poddar…My journey as ARMAAN in 2x… exactly how these 5 months flew…. Jitna pyaar mil raha hai, uske baar mein Toh kya hee bolun…choro yaar…kabhi fursat me baat karenge (I am speechless about the love I am getting, leave it…will talk about it in detail some other time),” followed by several red-heart emojis.
The show is currently focusing on the much-anticipated wedding of Abhira and Armaan. The wedding celebrations have started after they received approval from Kaveri. However, Ruhi is determined to stop the wedding and is plotting to bring Armaan back into her life by trying to make Kaveri call off the marriage.
