Ankit Gupta recently shared a photo on social media that has worried his fans about his health. The actor, who is currently starring in Maati Se Bandhi Dor alongside Rutuja Bagwe, posted an image on Instagram showing an intravenous (IV) cannula in his right hand. The Bigg Boss 16 alum didn’t give any details about his condition, leaving fans concerned.
The photo understandably caused his followers to worry, especially since Ankit, known for his role in Udaariyaan, didn’t explain what was going on. When India Forums reached out to him for more information, he clarified, “Yes, I am not well. I have a fever, cold, and cough. The picture was of a drip I took yesterday on set.”
Despite his illness, Ankit continues to film for the show while taking medication.
Ankit first became popular for his role as Parth Kashyap in the hit series Sadda Haq. He has also appeared in several TV shows like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Kundali Bhagya. He gained wider recognition with his role in Udaariyaan and later as a contestant on Bigg Boss 16.
