Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, Sep 12: Armaan and Abhira’s Sangeet Cancelled Due to Rain—Here’s Why
In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (September 12), the much-awaited sangeet of Abhira and Armaan is cancelled because of heavy rain. Kaveri blames Abhira for the situation.
The episode begins with Ruhi accusing Abhira of taking her B Nanu (grandfather) away from her, saying she feels like an orphan because of Abhira. Ruhi is in tears, and Abhira tries to comfort her, explaining that Manish is her grandfather too. Manish steps in, assuring Ruhi that he can love both his granddaughters equally.
Ruhi, feeling hurt, tells Manish that he chose Abhira over her and rushes to her car, ignoring Manish’s plea to stop. She drives away, leaving Abhira feeling upset. Abhira expresses her concern that she doesn’t want Ruhi to lose her connection with Manish because of her. Manish reassures her that she also deserves love and a family.
While Abhira is happy with Manish’s kind words, she still worries about Ruhi’s feelings. Manish encourages her to focus on preparing for the sangeet, saying he will handle Ruhi.
Swarna Gets Angry at Manish
Manish later reflects on Akshara’s last phone call and realizes she had wanted to talk about Abhira. He apologizes to her memory and vows to take care of Abhira.
At home, Swarna, in anger, breaks a picture of Ruhi and Manish. She tells him that Ruhi is also an orphan, and his actions today have made her worst fear come true. Manish tries to explain that Abhira is his responsibility too, but Swarna leaves, upset. Manish silently picks up the broken picture frame and promises not to let Ruhi or Abhira lose what they deserve.
Sangeet Gets Cancelled
Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan share a sweet moment, with Armaan apologizing and cheering her up. They talk about their upcoming wedding, and Abhira mentions that Ruhi, Sanjay, and Kaveri aren’t happy about it. She promises to make Dadi Sa dance at their sangeet. Kaveri, overhearing this, vows to see how Abhira will make that happen.
Suddenly, it starts raining heavily, and everyone begins to worry. Kaveri says the sangeet might not happen in such weather. Krish mentions that they didn’t expect rain, but Armaan stays positive, saying the rain will pass soon. However, when they try to leave, the cars stop midway due to the rain.
Armaan gets out to check, and Madhav suggests they leave the car and share rides to the venue. However, Manish informs them that the lake has overflowed due to the rain, making it impossible to reach the venue.
Kaveri seizes the moment to blame Abhira for not planning better. Armaan defends Abhira, telling Kaveri to stop blaming her for something beyond her control. But Kaveri declares that the sangeet is officially cancelled and tells everyone to head back home. The episode ends here.
