THROWBACK: When Aishwarya Sharma Was Surprised by Rekha at Her and Neil Bhatt’s Wedding Reception
Let’s go back to the time when actress Aishwarya Sharma shared how veteran actress Rekha surprised her by attending her wedding reception with Neil Bhatt. It was a special and memorable moment for the couple.
Did you know that Rekha had promoted the popular TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin? Aishwarya, a former Bigg Boss 17 contestant, once revealed that the cast of the show even made a special video to wish Rekha a happy birthday.
When Aishwarya appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, she shared, “Rekha ma’am had promoted our show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. All of us co-actors made a video wishing her on her birthday and sent it to her. Ma’am called us and spoke to everyone on set one by one. She knew every character from the show and praised everyone.”
Aishwarya also recalled how her husband Neil Bhatt sent an invitation to Rekha for their wedding reception. She said, “We invited her, but we weren’t sure if she would come. My mother-in-law suggested sending the invitation anyway and not worrying about whether she would attend or not.”
To their surprise, Rekha responded to Neil and confirmed that she would come to the event but asked him to keep it a secret from Aishwarya. Rekha wanted to surprise her, and that’s exactly what happened. The legendary Silsila actress even brought a Kanjivaram saree as a gift for Aishwarya.
It was a beautiful and unforgettable moment for the couple, made even more special by Rekha’s kind gesture.
