TMKOC’s Ex-Tappu Raj Anadkat Injured on Sets of New Project: Details Inside

Raj Anadkat, who used to play Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, got injured while filming his new show United States of Gujrat. He shared details about his injury on social media.

After his much-talked-about exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Raj moved on to work in the Gujarati show United States of Gujrat, which has received great feedback from viewers. During a recent scene, Raj injured himself but kept shooting with dedication.

Raj posted on social media that during a scene, his character had to hit himself with a whip. In the heat of the moment, he accidentally hit himself hard, causing bruises on his arms. Despite the pain, he stayed in character and finished the scene.

Sharing the experience, Raj wrote, “Yes, that was a real whip, and yes, it hurt—at first. Playing Jignesh Singh Jatta challenged me in ways I didn’t expect, but once I was in character, the pain became part of the performance.”

He also thanked the writing team behind the scene and encouraged fans to watch the episode on Jio Cinema.

In December 2022, Raj officially announced his exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, putting an end to months of speculation. He expressed his gratitude for the journey, friendships, and experiences he gained during his time on the show.

Since leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Raj has focused on his YouTube channel, appeared in music videos, and now stars in the lead role in United States of Gujrat.
