Amitabh Bachchan is back as the host of the 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Recently, a contestant named Apoorva Shetty from Mangalore, Karnataka, made it to the hot seat. She jokingly told the veteran actor that when she was sitting in the audience, all she could see was his back. Amitabh Bachchan had the best and funniest reply!

When Amitabh asked her why, Apoorva explained, “I was sitting there, sir (pointing to her seat in the audience). I could only see your back and kept wondering when I would get my chance.”
In his usual witty way, Amitabh replied, “At least you could see the back of my head, right?” He then kindly said to Apoorva, who is preparing for the UPSC exams, “Always stay this cheerful. You’ve been smiling ever since you arrived.”
Apoorva added, “Sir, my cheeks are hurting from smiling so much while looking at you.” Amitabh, being playful, responded, “Keep smiling. You look at me, I’ll look at you. The game will go on, and we’ll keep chatting. How are you? What have you been up to?”
