Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is known for her elegance and impressive acting skills. She recently had a fun chat with her fans on X (formerly known as Twitter). During this chat, Mahira answered many questions about her favorite actresses and upcoming projects. But one question stood out – a fan asked her what she learned from Shah Rukh Khan while working on the movie Raees.
The fan wrote, “What did you learn from SRK while working on Raees? #askmahira.” Mahira replied with a simple but meaningful answer: “‘Give happiness a chance, baby’ :)”
Earlier, Mahira shared more about her first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan. She said, “The first time I met him, I just went to him and said, ‘Hello,’ and he replied, ‘as-salamu alaykum.’ I couldn’t help but say as-salamu alaykum back because that’s my thing. I am from Pakistan.” She described Shah Rukh as a ‘giving actor,’ explaining that he cares not only about his own role but also about everyone else in the scene.
Mahira also shared a cute memory about how her mom reacted when she first told her she was working with Shah Rukh Khan. Her mother didn’t believe her at first, and when she finally did, she told Mahira not to do anything bad!
For those who don’t know, Mahira Khan is currently in the news because her film, The Legend of Maula Jatt, is set to release in India on October 2, 2024. However, there is some resistance from political parties in India. The movie also features Fawad Khan, known for his popular shows like Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, and Dastaan. Pakistani artists have been banned from working in India since 2016 after the Uri terror attack.
