Mahima Chaudhary Shares How Hina Khan Wanted to Go to America for Her Breast Cancer Treatment: “I Was the First Person She Called,” Says Mahima
In a recent interview, Mahima Chaudhary shared that she was the first person Hina Khan called after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Hina even thought about going to America for her treatment.
Hina Khan has been very open about her breast cancer journey, sharing regular updates with her fans. Recently, Mahima Chaudhary spoke about her friendship with Hina and how they connected over this tough time.
What Mahima Shared About Their Friendship:
Talking to India Today, Mahima said that she and Hina met at some parties and became friends. After Hina found out about her diagnosis, the first person she called was Mahima. Hina told her she was planning to start her treatment in America. However, Mahima advised her to stay in India, explaining that the treatments and medicines are the same in both countries.
Mahima said, “I met Hina at a party, and we kept in touch. She called me first after her diagnosis. She told me she booked herself to go to America. I felt the same way when I was diagnosed. But I told her, ‘It’s a tough treatment, and you’ll be alone.’ I suggested she get treated in Mumbai because the medicines are the same, whether you take them in America or here.”
Hina’s Special Message for Mahima:
Recently, on Mahima’s birthday, Hina shared a heartfelt post from the hospital, thanking her for all her help during her treatment. She posted a few pictures with Mahima and wrote, “This picture is from my very first chemo. This amazing woman surprised me at the hospital. She’s been with me, guiding and motivating me during this tough time. She’s my hero and made my journey easier.”
