In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan was asking a math question worth Rs 5,000 to a contestant named Kirti, who is a banker. Kirti answered the question correctly and quickly, which made Big B say, “You work in a bank, madam, so you have to be very good at math. You answered so fast!”
Kirti then shared that she never scored more than 40% in math. For those who missed it, the Rs 5,000 question was: “How many cards will you have if you take 25% of a deck of 52 playing cards?” The options were: A) 12, B) 13, C) 10, D) 11. The right answer was Option B – 13.
Amitabh Bachchan also talked about his own school days. He said he didn’t do very well in Science when he was studying for his BSc degree. He shared, “I finished my BSc without really knowing much about it. I heard there was a lot of scope in Science, so I signed up. But it only took me 45 minutes to realize it wasn’t for me. I failed the first time. The second time, I somehow passed with 42%.”
