Govinda’s accidental bullet injury has surprised and worried many fans. On Tuesday, October 1, the popular actor was injured when his licensed gun accidentally misfired, hitting his leg. After the incident, Govinda was quickly taken to the hospital. As he is now recovering, his niece Arti Singh and her husband Dipak Chauhan visited him to check on his health.
Just a short while ago, Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan were spotted at Criticare Hospital in Juhu, where Govinda is being treated. The couple went straight inside to see Govinda, who is still in the hospital and on the road to recovery.
On the same day, Kashmera Shah, the wife of Govinda’s nephew Krushna Abhishek, also visited the hospital. Krushna, who is currently in Australia, spoke to the media about his uncle’s condition. He told Hindustan Times, “He is fine now. Kashmera went to meet him. I am in Australia right now, but he will be discharged in a few days.”
Later, on October 2, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja gave an update on his health. She told the media that he is doing better than before and will be moved to a normal ward. Sunita also mentioned that Govinda could be discharged within a day or two and thanked everyone for their love and prayers.
The accident happened when Govinda was putting his licensed revolver away in a cabinet. The gun slipped and accidentally fired. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 4:45 a.m., when Govinda was about to leave for an appointment. The bullet hit just below his left knee.
After the incident, several celebrities, including Shatrughan Sinha, David Dhawan, Sudesh Lehri, and Jackky Bhagnani, visited the hospital to check on the actor’s condition.
