Bigg Boss 18 is just one day away from its grand premiere, and fans are eagerly waiting for the new season. Salman Khan returns as the host, which has added to the excitement. The line-up of contestants has already created a lot of buzz. Among them is a lawyer who is expected to join the show, but he has a controversial background. He was suspended by the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
In a new promo released by the makers of Bigg Boss 18, the lawyer is heard saying, “Hum aate hai Thakur ki khandaan se. Humari aawaz pahuchne se pehle hamara naam pahuch jaata hai. Ab tum hamare client banoge?” (I come from the Thakur family. My name is known before my voice is heard. Will you be my client?)
According to a report by ETimes, the lawyer’s license to practice has been suspended for two years by the State Bar Council due to misconduct. The disciplinary committee found the advocate guilty under section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961, for “other misconduct.”
An email from the Secretary of the BCMG (Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa) to the Bar Council of India stated, “The license to practice issued by BCMG to the respondent advocate is hereby suspended for a period of 2 years from the date of service of this order.”
As for Bigg Boss 18, the theme this year is Time Ka Tandav. In one of the popular promos, Bigg Boss is seen calling Salman Khan. Salman is shown standing in front of two mirrors, confronting both his past and future. The promo features a young, AI-generated version of Salman, who questions, “Arey Salman, abhi kidhar hai?” (Where are you now, Salman?) The real Salman replies, “Confession room mein hoon.” (I’m in the confession room.) He then expresses frustration, saying, “Look yaar, na maine kuch kiya, na tune kuch kiya tha.” (Neither I nor you have done anything.)
The future version of Salman appears as a more handsome and youthful version of himself.
Be sure to watch the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 18 on October 6 at 9 pm.
