Smriti, who played the iconic character Tulsi Virani, met Jayaa, who portrayed Payal Mehra in the show. Their reunion brought back fond memories for fans and even got a reaction from the show’s creator, Ektaa Kapoor.
On October 12, Smriti posted a photo on Instagram where she and Jayaa are seen smiling brightly, showing how their bond has only grown stronger over the years. Along with the photo, Smriti, known for her clever captions, wrote, “On Dussehra the Good, the Bad… and the epic drama #kyunkityoharsabkehain @jaya.bhattacharya #puraniyadein #dost.”

It’s been 24 years since the show first aired, but Smriti Irani’s role as Tulsi remains unforgettable. The show ran from 2000 to 2008, focusing on Tulsi, the ideal daughter-in-law, married into the wealthy Virani family. Amar Upadhyay and later Ronit Roy played her husband, Mihir Virani.
