Bigg Boss OTT 3 Fame Adnaan Shaikh Files Defamation Case Against Sister Iffat
Adnaan Shaikh, known from Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, is facing serious issues with his family, especially with his sister, Iffat. After his recent marriage to longtime girlfriend Ayesha, things took a turn for the worse when Iffat accused Adnaan of physically assaulting her.
In the latest update, Adnaan has filed a defamation case against Iffat at the Dindoshi Court in Mumbai. This legal move comes after months of rising tensions within their family. On October 11, 2024, Adnaan arrived at the court with his lawyer to start the legal proceedings.
Adnaan’s father has also spoken up about the situation, claiming that Iffat’s in-laws are pressuring her to make these accusations. He mentioned Iffat’s drinking and smoking habits, saying, “Adnaan and I told her not to stay with someone like that, but she didn’t listen.”
The stress of this situation has deeply affected their mother, who is now on oxygen and struggling with her health. Their father revealed that she has 50% lung damage, and the family is currently living with relatives to avoid the constant attention and judgment from people about this controversy.
The problems started on September 30 when Iffat filed a police complaint against Adnaan, claiming that he had beaten her on September 28. According to activist Furkhan Shaikh, who is helping Iffat in this case, Adnaan assaulted her and her father-in-law in front of everyone at Altiuz Multispecialty Hospital in Malad. She had gone to visit her unwell parents when Adnaan allegedly slapped her and dragged her across the hospital. After this, Iffat filed an FIR and shared her side of the story with the media.
Outside the court, Adnaan expressed his disappointment, saying that family matters should have stayed private.
