In the upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan shares a special memory about the first time he saw Vidya Balan. Bollywood stars Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan will appear on the show this Friday (October 17) to promote their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
During the show, Amitabh Bachchan recalls attending the screening of Parineeta, where he saw Vidya for the first time. He was so impressed with her performance that he told filmmaker Karan Johar, “Sign this girl quickly, she’s going to be a big star.” Big B was deeply moved by Vidya’s acting and even asked the director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, “How did you find her?”
Vidya thanked Amitabh for his kind words and expressed her gratitude for working with him in the 2007 film Eklavya. They have also acted together in Te3n and Paa.
In this special episode, Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen dancing to the classic song “Dilbar Mere.” A recent promo shows them enjoying the moment before Vidya hugs Amitabh and takes her seat.
As for the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it is set to release on November 1. Vidya will reprise her role as Manjulika, Kartik Aaryan as Rooh Baba, and Rajpal Yadav as Chhote Pandit. Other stars in the film include Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Sanjay Mishra. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film will be released alongside Singham Again.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 airs from Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony TV and is also available on Sony LIV.
