Abhinav Shukla shared a glimpse of how he and his wife, Rubina Dilaik, celebrated Karwa Chauth from a distance. His sweet and creative gesture is winning hearts online.
Social media is filled with videos of Karwa Chauth celebrations, with many celebrities showing off how they spent the special day with their partners. However, popular couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla couldn’t be together on Karwa Chauth. But Abhinav’s thoughtful act is melting hearts online.
On Karwa Chauth (October 20), Abhinav shared a short video of his evening. He was in Mumbai, while Rubina and their kids were at her maternal home in Himachal Pradesh. Since the moon appeared late that night, Abhinav decided to make his own moon by drawing it.

At first, he struggled to get it right, but after a few tries, he succeeded. Using his studio light to create the right light and shadow, he finally drew a moon. Later, with the help of a photo editing app, he perfected the image. Afterward, they celebrated together through a video call once the real moon appeared in the sky.
Abhinav posted the video with the caption: “To the ones I look up to, I always say: ‘Thank you’ … thank you @rubinadilaik I got a standby moon ready for you as Chandrama decided to show up late today! HAPPY #karvachauth.”
Netizens loved Abhinav’s gesture, calling him “a man of many talents.” Some commented that his drawing would have made Rubina’s day if they had been together. People called him “the perfect husband” and praised him with comments like “Such a green flag.” One user even wrote, “Cutest video on the internet today.”
For those who don’t know, Abhinav and Rubina got married in Shimla on June 21, 2018. They’ve been setting relationship goals ever since. Their family grew in November 2023 when they welcomed twin daughters, Eedha and Jeeva.
After giving birth, Rubina returned to work within a few months. Besides her podcast, she is set to return to the big screen in a film alongside Rajpal Yadav.
