Bigg Boss 18: Shrutika Arjun Shares Her Dad’s Sacrifice for Her Wedding, Gets Emotional
Inside the Bigg Boss 18 house, Shrutika Arjun recently had an emotional moment as she opened up about her parents, especially her father. Missing her family deeply, the former actress broke down, sharing how her dad took a loan to cover her wedding expenses. In the promo released by the show, Shrutika is seen in tears as her housemates gather to comfort her.
Shrutika, known for Cooku with Comali, expressed, “I miss my mom and dad so much. I have never been away from them. My father isn’t as wealthy as Arjun, but he spent his entire savings on my wedding. Even my brother didn’t ask if there was anything left for him.”
She went on to reveal that her father is still repaying that wedding debt. Feeling overwhelmed, Shrutika called herself a “complete waste” and shared her dream of buying her dad a house one day. She also spoke fondly of her mom’s love for travel and her hope to take her on a world tour.
In a recent Bigg Boss 18 episode, Shrutika had a heated exchange with fellow contestant Avinash Mishra. During a task where housemates were asked to sacrifice personal items for ration, Shrutika refused to give up any belongings and criticized Avinash for being “stone-hearted,” even towards friends. She felt disappointed when he only gave a packet of flour to Eisha Singh, who had sacrificed her mother’s shawl. Avinash defended himself, saying he wasn’t biased in his choices.
The next episode will feature an eviction, and one of the contestants—Muskan Bamne, Tajinder Bagga, or Sara Arfeen Khan—will leave the Bigg Boss 18 house. Who do you think will be eliminated?
