Kunwar Amar, Anupamaa’s Titu, Talks About His Experience Working with Producer Rajan Shahi and Co-actors
Actor Kunwar Amar, known for his role as Titu in the hit show Anupamaa, recently opened up about his time on set, his bond with producer Rajan Shahi, and working with lead actress Rupali Ganguly. The show, which stars Rupali Ganguly in the lead, took a major leap recently, resulting in the exit of most of the cast, including Kunwar.
In an interview with Telly Talk India, Kunwar shared his excitement when he first got the role, as he had always wanted to work with talented actors. His exit was a mutual decision with the producer. Kunwar explained, “When the leap was decided, I felt my character wouldn’t have much to do, so I spoke with Rajan sir about it. I didn’t want to move into a senior category as the show’s younger characters grew up. Rajan sir understood and supported my decision.”
Talking about Rajan Shahi, Kunwar described him as very friendly on set. “I never felt restricted or pressured. I was always free to express myself. If I felt creatively dissatisfied, I could talk to him, and he would listen,” Kunwar added.
Kunwar also shared about his bond with Rupali Ganguly. He recalled his first day on set, where they shot a dance routine together. At the end of the day, Rupali hugged him, welcoming him warmly to the team. “We shared a beautiful bond,” Kunwar said, adding that they would often discuss scenes and ideas to make them better.
For those who missed it, after the recent leap on Anupamaa, almost all actors left the show, except for Rupali Ganguly.
