In the October 27 episode of Bigg Boss 18, Ajay Devgn shared a surprising story from the shooting of his upcoming movie Singham Again. While promoting the film with director Rohit Shetty, Devgn revealed to host Salman Khan that he had suffered a serious eye injury on set.
Ajay, who plays Bajirao Singham in the film, explained that the injury happened because of a timing mistake during an action scene. Salman mentioned that Ajay had shown him the scene, where someone was supposed to strike him with a stick. However, the timing was off, and the stick hit Ajay directly in the eye. The injury was so bad that he temporarily lost his vision for two to three months. Thankfully, Ajay has now fully recovered.
The trio also discussed how stunts have become easier for new actors, thanks to advancements in technology. Rohit Shetty added that during a previous Bigg Boss appearance, the idea of a collaboration between characters Chulbul Pandey and Singham first came up.
Later in the episode, Rohit Shetty went into the Bigg Boss 18 house and gave the contestants a challenge based on a task from his show Khatron Ke Khiladi. The contestants had to endure electric shocks, testing their tolerance in a unique twist.
Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn alongside Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, is set to release on November 1, just in time for Diwali.
