A new promo for Anupamaa shows an exciting twist ahead. In the clip, it appears Raahi may have run away from Krishna Kunj once again, and the Shah family is furious.
The promo, shared by Star Plus on Instagram, shows Anupama coming home happily with groceries, looking forward to celebrating Diwali with her daughter, Raahi (also called Aadhya and Choti). But as soon as she steps inside, her sister-in-law, Dolly, tells her in anger that Raahi has stolen all the family’s money and left. Shocked, Anupama insists it can’t be true. Baa then tells her that Raahi took the money on Dhanteras and disappeared. The promo even shows Raahi taking the money and running away, leaving Anupama in disbelief.
The promo caption reads, “The one Anupama brought home as Laxmi has taken the family’s wealth on Dhanteras. Anupama’s decision to bring her home is now under question. What will Anupama do next? Find out on Anupamaa, this Diwali, this Friday at 10 PM on StarPlus and anytime on Disney+ Hotstar.”
Although it’s unclear why Raahi took the money, it seems she doesn’t want to stay with the Shah family. After the recent 10-year leap in Anupamaa, the story now focuses on the strained relationship between Anupama and her daughter. Anupama, who is running a catering business, still helps the Shahs financially. Recently, on a trip to Dwarka, she reunited with her daughter Raahi, who then asked her to pay Rs 10 lakh to save her orphanage. Anupama agreed, and Raahi came home with her. However, Raahi is trying to annoy the family so they’ll let her return to the orphanage.
Alisha Parveen Khan now plays Raahi, while Shivam Khajuria is the male lead as Prem Kothari. Rupali Ganguly continues in her role as Anupamaa.
