Newlyweds Surbhi Jyoti and Sumit Suri recently shared a glimpse of their beautiful sangeet ceremony, full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The couple’s wedding and pre-wedding celebrations were a joyful affair with their family and close friends in attendance.
On October 29, Surbhi posted a few stunning photos from the sangeet night on her social media. She looked radiant in a royal blue, heavily embroidered sharara, while Sumit wore a bright orange kurta set. The evening was filled with dancing, love, and laughter as the couple celebrated with their loved ones. In her post, Surbhi captioned the photos, “Rhythms of joy, beats of love… Sangeet night.”
Many celebrities, including Arti Singh and Asha Negi, left their warm wishes and love for the couple in the comments.
Surbhi and Sumit have been dating for a long time. They first met while shooting a music video called Haanji—The Marriage Mantra, where they played a bride and groom. Their on-screen chemistry turned into real love, and they soon began dating.
Originally, the couple planned to marry in March 2024, but they postponed due to venue availability. Finally, on October 27, 2024, they tied the knot at Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. Staying true to their love for nature, they incorporated eco-friendly traditions into the wedding, honoring the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space.
Their wedding was attended by many of Surbhi’s close friends, including Asha Negi, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Kishwer Merchant, and Suyash Rai.
