REPORT: Dilip Joshi and Asit Modi Allegedly Clash on TMKOC Sets Over Leave Request
In a surprising incident, Dilip Joshi, who plays Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), reportedly got into a heated argument with the show’s producer, Asit Kumarr Modi. According to a report by News 18, the altercation happened in August this year when Dilip requested time off from the show.
The situation escalated to the point where Dilip allegedly grabbed Asit’s collar in anger. A source revealed, “It was Kush Shah’s last day on set, and Dilip ji was waiting to speak with Asit bhai about his leave. But when Asit bhai arrived, he went straight to meet Kush, which upset Dilip ji.”
The insider claimed that Dilip confronted Asit, expressing his frustration and even threatening to quit the show. However, Asit reportedly managed to calm him down before the matter worsened.
This isn’t the first time tensions have been reported between the two. The source mentioned another incident during a shoot in Hong Kong, where a significant argument broke out. Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, a former cast member, had to step in to mediate and resolve their differences.
