Popular actress Shehnaaz Gill has delighted her fans with an exciting update. She has officially started shooting for her new Punjabi film and shared the news on her social media today, November 22.
Taking to Instagram, Shehnaaz posted several pictures to mark the special occasion. In her heartfelt caption, she wrote: “Starting a new journey today. I am immensely proud and happy to announce that we begin shooting my Punjabi film with my dream team.”
The pictures show Shehnaaz holding a clapperboard to mark the film’s official start. She is also seen participating in a prayer ceremony and posing with her team. Along with announcing the project, she gave a special mention to the director, producers, and other team members in her caption.
Fans were thrilled by the announcement and filled the comments with good wishes and excitement to see her back in Punjabi cinema.
For those unaware, Shehnaaz began her acting career with the Punjabi film Sat Shri Akaal England. Over time, she worked on other Punjabi films like Daaka, Silsila Sidnaaz Ka, and Honsla Rakh. Her popularity skyrocketed after her appearance on Bigg Boss 13, where she became a household name. She finished third in the reality show and also shared a special bond with late actor Sidharth Shukla, which endeared her to many fans.
Shehnaaz later made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Besides films, she has appeared in several music videos and remains one of the most loved celebrities in the industry.
