Anupamaa Actress Rupali Ganguly Reveals Her New Year Resolution: “I Want to Learn Table Tennis”
Popular actress Rupali Ganguly, known for her lead role in Anupamaa, recently took a short break from her busy schedule to spend quality time with her family in Goa. Amid her vacation, she shared her New Year resolution on social media, giving fans a glimpse into her personal goals for the coming year.
On December 2, Rupali posted a picture of her son playing table tennis. In her caption, she revealed that she plans to learn the game, even though sports were never her strong suit. Rupali expressed her desire to one day play table tennis with her son, Rudransh.
She wrote, “My New Year resolution is to learn table tennis… I have never been a sports person, never participated in school sports… But this is something I want to learn and play with my son one day. It’s his second day too at this. #ProudMom.”

Rupali’s husband, Ashwin Verma, had earlier shared their Goa travel plans on social media, posting photos of the family enjoying their vacation. Rupali also shared glimpses of their trip on her Instagram stories.
However, the family’s getaway came amid a turbulent time. They have been dealing with a controversy involving Ashwin’s daughter, Esha Verma. Esha made several allegations against Rupali on social media, which created a stir. While Rupali avoided addressing the accusations publicly, she was deeply hurt when Esha called her son, Rudransh, “illegitimate.”
In response, Rupali Ganguly filed a Rs. 50 crore defamation suit against Esha Verma with the help of celebrity lawyer Sana Raees Khan. Following this, Esha deleted all her posts related to Rupali and issued a statement saying she would focus on positivity and refrain from making further comments or giving interviews about the matter.
Despite the ongoing drama, Rupali Ganguly continues to focus on her family and personal goals, setting an example of resilience and determination.
