During the fun-filled conversation, Kapil Sharma praised Rekha’s unique ability to mimic people, but she politely declined to imitate Lata Mangeshkar. Kapil shared, “Rekha ji observes people so well that she can perfectly mimic their mannerisms. I’ve seen her do it, and it’s amazing!”
Rekha then shared a touching memory, saying, “It was Lata didi’s birthday, and I told her in front of everyone, ‘I am your biggest fan. God, if you’re listening, please make her my daughter in my next birth.’ To this, Lata didi sweetly replied, ‘Why wait for the next birth? I am your daughter in this life.’ She always called me ‘mumma’ after that. Even now, I can still hear her voice calling me ‘mumma.’”
