In an Instagram post, Surbhi shared her experience and how difficult it was for her to even smile through the pain. She wrote, “Two days ago, I had the worst stomach infection—an attack so bad that I could barely get out of bed. I don’t usually rant because I love my work so much, and my energy is always at 100x. But we had to show up at a club for Jaan E Jaan promotions.”
She added, “But you have to do what you’ve got to do. Life as an artist—or in general—isn’t easy. There are no shortcuts, no silver or gold spoons, and no ready platters. You have to gather courage even on your worst days, smile, and keep going. I am who I am today because of you all, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Let’s keep thriving, embrace the good and bad days, and move forward with gratitude.”
Ending on a lighter note, she joked, “I was trying so hard to smile in all the pictures, even though my stomach was in constant ‘gud gud.’ TMI, I know!”
