Alisha Parveen Breaks Silence on Exit from Anupamaa and Rumors About Rupali Ganguly’s Involvement
The hit TV show Anupamaa is making headlines again, this time due to Alisha Parveen’s sudden exit. Alisha, who played Raahi on the show, has reportedly been replaced by Adrija Roy. Since her departure, rumors have been swirling that Rupali Ganguly might have influenced the decision. Alisha recently addressed these speculations and shared her perspective on the matter.
In a conversation with India Forums, Alisha commented on the rumors linking her exit to Rupali Ganguly. She acknowledged hearing about these speculations, saying, “I’ve read fan messages where people claim it was DKP (the production house) or Rupali ma’am behind this. What exactly happened, I can’t say. Maybe yes, maybe no, or maybe nothing at all.”
Alisha expressed her surprise at being replaced, revealing that she had no prior knowledge about the decision. She clarified that her relationship with Rupali was purely professional and added that she shared positive bonds with all her co-stars on the show.
The actress also shared that she avoids interfering in others’ matters, which is why she wasn’t aware of anything happening behind her back. Speaking about her replacement, she said, “Nobody asked me anything or informed me beforehand. Nothing happened.”
According to reports, Adrija Roy will now take on the role of Raahi and will be paired opposite Shivam Khajuria, who plays Prem in the show.
While Alisha’s exit has stirred controversy, her candid response leaves much to interpretation, making fans even more curious about the dynamics on the set of Anupamaa.
