Adrija Roy is all set to appear in the popular TV show Anupamaa, sharing the screen with Rupali Ganguly and Shivam Khajuria. Let’s get to know more about her and her journey so far.
About Adrija Roy
Adrija Roy was born in Kolkata and began her acting career with the Bengali TV show Bedini Moluar Kotha in 2016. Since then, she has built an impressive portfolio in Bengali television, earning praise for her performances. Some of her well-known shows include Durga Durgeshwari, Potol Kumar Gaanwala, Jai Kali Kalkattawali, Mou Er Bari, and Bikram Betal.
In 2023, Adrija transitioned to Hindi television and quickly made her mark. She landed the lead role in the hit show Imlie until it ended in May 2024. Later, she joined Kundali Bhagya, replacing Sana Sayyad as Palki and starring alongside Paras Kalnawat.
Joining Anupamaa
Now, Adrija is stepping into the role of Rahi (Aadhya), the onscreen daughter of Rupali Ganguly’s character in Anupamaa. The show’s production house, Directors Kut Production, announced her entry with pictures of Adrija and Shivam Khajuria, hinting at a budding love story between their characters.
In their Instagram post, the makers wrote:

Controversy Around Alisha Parveen’s Exit
Before Adrija’s arrival, Alisha Parveen, who previously played the role, revealed she was abruptly replaced without being given a chance to voice her opinion.
Fans of Anupamaa are now eagerly waiting to see Adrija bring her charm and talent to this much-loved show.
