Alisha Parveen Reveals Her 3-Year Contract Was Broken After Being Sacked from Anupamaa
Alisha Parveen’s sudden exit from Anupamaa has shocked many fans. After being removed from the show, Alisha has now revealed that the makers broke her 3-year contract.
Speaking to Telly Talk/Times Now, Alisha explained that she was asked to sign a contract that stated she couldn’t leave the show for three years. However, she expressed her disappointment, saying that if the makers had taken a promise from her, they should have also promised not to remove her from the show. She added, “It is very wrong to remove someone from the show overnight. You are mentally playing with their dreams.”
Alisha also shared that her contract didn’t mention anything about being replaced. She felt that the makers should have given her some assurance about her position on the show. Looking back, she said she worked very hard to reach where she was, but leaving the show happened in just a few seconds.
A few days ago, Alisha posted a video on her social media showing clips of her and Shivam Khajuria from Anupamaa. She expressed how heartbroken she felt after being replaced. In the caption, she wrote, “I didn’t quit, I was replaced. This was so hard for me! When you give everything to your character and then are replaced overnight, it feels like heartbreak. But I am smiling because of your support and love. Always your Raahi. Thank you so much for the love.”
Now, Adrija Roy will take over Alisha’s role of Rahi in Anupamaa, the show led by Rupali Ganguly.
