1. Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe Fired from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Two popular actors, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, were removed from the hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on March 18. The producers cited “unprofessional behavior” and disruptions on set as the reasons for their termination.
After their exit, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani stepped in to replace them. Later, when Shehzada entered Bigg Boss 18, host Salman Khan questioned him about the incident. Shehzada hinted that the producers and directors treated him unfairly but avoided naming names.
2. Tensions on the Set of Anupamaa
The top-rated show Anupamaa saw several of its actors leave before the show’s 15-year leap, citing a “toxic environment.”
Paras Kalnawat accused lead actress Rupali Ganguly of ending his character’s role abruptly, saying he had asked for better story development. Nidhi Shah, who played Kinjal, claimed her scenes were cut and mentioned wardrobe issues, indirectly blaming Rupali for the problems. Rumors of a rift between Rupali and her co-stars were a major topic of discussion.

TMKOC actor Gurucharan Singh made headlines when he didn’t board his flight from Delhi to Mumbai and went missing for a month. His father even filed a missing person report.
