Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal Talks About Helping Gurucharan Singh Financially; Criticizes Taarak Mehta Actors

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, a former cast member of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, recently opened up about offering financial support to her co-star Gurucharan Singh in the past. She also criticized other actors from the sitcom for their lack of support.

Gurucharan Singh’s Health and Financial Troubles

Gurucharan Singh, known for playing Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular sitcom, has been hospitalized due to a serious health condition. He has reportedly stopped eating, further worrying his fans. Alongside his health issues, Gurucharan is also facing severe financial problems, including a debt of ₹1.5 crore. Most of his savings were spent fighting a property dispute.

Jennifer’s Attempt to Help Gurucharan

In an interview with Zoom, Jennifer revealed that Gurucharan had approached her for financial help in the past. He initially asked her for ₹1 lakh to clear his credit card dues. Jennifer agreed to help, but later, Gurucharan told her he didn’t need the money at that moment.

Later, he requested ₹17 lakh, but Jennifer could only offer ₹1 lakh, as that was all she had. She expressed her concern about his financial struggles and highlighted her efforts to support him.

Criticism of Co-stars

Jennifer criticized other Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors, saying, “Woh log kisike nahi hai” (They don’t support anyone). She also shared her disappointment, saying that her former co-stars didn’t stand by her during her own tough times. Jennifer revealed, “When my sister passed away last year, not a single person from the cast called me.”

Advice to Gurucharan

Jennifer mentioned that she had advised Gurucharan to take up work and charge reasonable fees from producers, but he was unwilling to compromise. She also revealed that they had received an offer to join Bigg Boss 18. Gurucharan had hoped that the show would help him resolve his financial issues, but unfortunately, nothing worked out.

Gurucharan’s Exit from the Show

Gurucharan Singh played a beloved character in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah but left the show in 2020. Since then, he has faced several personal and professional challenges.

Fans are hopeful for Gurucharan’s recovery and better days ahead.
