Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, January 23: Madhav Confronts Armaan About Abhira
Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Abhira walking to court after failing to find an auto. At the court, she sees RK handing their case to another lawyer for money. Abhira confronts RK, but he defends himself, saying he only cares about money, not respect.
Kaveri arrives, and RK immediately recognizes her and escapes. Abhira wonders why Kaveri came to the court and tries to talk to her, but Kaveri ignores her.
Drama at the Poddar House
At the Poddar household, Manisha deliberately burns a dish. When Vidya asks what she’s up to, Aaryan and Krish explain they wanted poha cooked by Vidya but didn’t want to bother her. Vidya decides to cook for them.
Armaan notices Manisha’s behavior and guesses her plan. She admits it was Abhira’s idea.
The Goenka Household
Meanwhile, Charu and Abhir return to the Goenka house and see Kiara there. Abhir proudly shares that he took a step on his own today. Manish and Suwarna congratulate him, and Kiara hugs him. Abhir says he has regained his strength and looks at Charu.
Abhira and Armaan’s Thoughts
That night, both Abhira and Armaan miss each other. They remember a special moment when Abhira named a star after them. Abhira waits for Armaan’s call, but he struggles to find his phone. Instead, RK calls Abhira and gives her a day off.
The next morning, Abhira decides to keep herself busy to avoid thinking about Armaan. On the other hand, Armaan vents his frustration at Krish and Charu. Charu asks him if he’s missing Abhira. Vidya joins the conversation and tells Armaan to let go of Abhira. Armaan insists she is in the past, but Madhav overhears and isn’t happy.
Madhav Confronts Armaan
Madhav tells Armaan he’s disappointed in him and doesn’t recognize him anymore. He says supporting his mother when she’s wrong is unfair, no matter how good of a son Armaan is.
After Madhav leaves, Armaan justifies his actions, saying he did it for Vidya’s happiness because Abhira hurt her deeply.
Kiara and Manisha’s Argument
Elsewhere, Kiara confesses to Manisha that she loves Abhir and wants to marry him. Manisha is shocked and scolds her, saying she can never be with Abhir. Vidya overhears and asks Manisha about Kiara’s marriage, but Manisha avoids the topic.
The episode ends with Armaan reflecting on his actions and Madhav’s words.
